A short film titled The Line is casting women ages 35 to 70
Extras needed to portray women visiting a rural health clinic.
Seeking real Mississippi residents with a wide variety of faces, body types, ages, personalities and backgrounds.
Natural, believable people and not actors. Which is why no previous acting experience is required.
The Line is a non-union short film currently in production in and around Jackson, Mississippi. According to Film Mississippi, “The Line” began production this month.
The casting notice lists a $100 rate for the day, paid upon wrapping. There may also be an additional $25 for a voiceover line, which will be cast on the day by the director.
The shoot date for this casting call is October 19, 2026, in Canton, Mississippi.

CASTING CALL – THE LINE
We are searching for 20 LADIES, ages 35–70, to portray women visiting a rural health clinic in The Line.
We are looking for a wide variety of faces, body types, ages, personalities, and walks of life. Most importantly, we want REAL MISSISSIPPIANS who can bring authenticity and personality to these roles!All backgrounds and appearances are encouraged to submit.
We are looking for natural, believable people – not a specific “look.”
Previous acting experience is not required unless otherwise noted.Rate: $100 for the day, paid upon wrapping for the day.
