The upcoming television project “Gordie” is currently filming in and around New York.
The new TV series is casting for New York locals to fill various paid background roles.
“Gordie” is expected to film from now through mid-September 2026, with production utilizing locations across the region. Filming will take place at New York’s famed Silvercup Studios as well as other locations across the city. While plot details remain under wraps, the production has been actively casting background performers and stand-ins for a variety of roles throughout the summer. The series is expected to continue filming in the New York area until the fall, with both SAG-AFTRA and non-union opportunities being offered during production.
