KingSky Productions Int’l Ltd. Is looking for a female lead character for an independent feature film “AKP: JOB 27”. The filming takes place in Bangkok, Thailand.
Genre: Crime Drama, Arthouse (Gangster Film)
Synopsis: A Yakuza hitman travels to Bangkok for his 27th job, only to find lingering memories of lost love through a chance encounter with a beautiful Russian prostitute.
Casting for a speaking role:
Female Lead – The Prostitute/The Lost Love
(*both characters played by same actress)
The Prostitute – Romantic at heart, but slight jaded. Born in Vladivostok to a dancer mother and a seaman father. Was human trafficked to Bangkok, and now works in the skin trade against her will. Sees the hitman as possibly her savior, maybe even lover.
Secondary Character (Lost Love) – Young, naive, romantic, and kind hearted. The daughter of a corrupt diplomat, who fell in love with the hitman sent to kill her. Her death left a mark on the hitman’s soul, haunting him forever.
* Criteria for a female lead (age range 20s – 30)
– NO ACTING EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
– MUST BE WILLING TO DO NUDITY
– PREFERABLY OF SLAVIC DESCENT
– ABLE TO SPEAK WITH SLAVIC ACCENT or OTHER ACCENT
– MUST BE AVAILABLE FROM DECEMBER 15, 2011 TILL JANUARY 15, 2012
– MUST HAVE VALID PASSPORT TO TRAVEL TO BANGKOK FOR SHOOT
This is a call for Non-Union actors only.
WHERE: 62-64 Fraser Avenue, Toronto, (it opens to a lane way with studios on either side. The audition would take place through silver door with a white sign– on the right hand side of the lane–in Studio 66, Toronto Academy of Acting). Fraser Avenue is off of King just 2 blocks East of Dufferin, west of Atlantic and Jefferson.
WHEN: Tuesday, September 6 from 12.00 till 5 pm. & Wednesday September 7 from 12.00 till 4 pm.
