Shakespeare auditions posted by the Company Manager

The Philadelphia Shakespeare Theatre is seeking actors for its upcoming 2012 repertory Season of Twelfth Night and Titus Andronicus. We are looking specifically to fill the roles of Titus and Aaron.
Titus- A warrior in his late 40’s to 60’s. A strong command of the text is required.
Aaron- African American Male. Powerful and seductive. A strong command of the text is required.
As part of the repertory season both actors will also be cast in Twelfth Night. The contract will run from February 14th- May 13th 2012. The Philadelphia Shakespeare Theatre is an Equity Playhouse offering a LOA contract.

Auditions will take place on Sept 19, 2011 from 1-4pm at The Philadelphia Shakespeare Theatre located at 2111 Sansom Street, just off of Rittenhouse Square in Philadelphia, PA. The Philadelphia Shakespeare Theatre is an Equity Playhouse devoted entirely to the production of Shakespeare’s greatest masterpieces. This season, The Philadelphia Shakespeare Theatre celebrates it’s 15th Season.
