Skeleton Crew Theater is looking for actors comfortable with improv to join a unique show in May. Do you have a taste for the fantastic? A willingness to perform outside the traditional comfort of staged theater? Did you love Jim Henson growing up? Then you may be exactly what we’re looking for!
SCT is a performance group that creates magical shows in a outdoor venue for the whole family, while retaining the magic and mystery of the old Grim’s fairy tales. We’re kid friendly, but don’t expect Disney here- there’s an air of risk and shadow to our shows. Performers operate and voice life size puppets that interact with tour groups as they move through the space.
Puppet experience is a bonus but not required, we’ll train with the puppets in the space.
We’re casting for our first ever spring show, to be held on the grounds of Turners Falls High School on the evenings of May 18 and 19, 2012.
Auditions will be held at Turners Falls High School on March 22, 2012 from 7-8:30pm, and on March 24, 2012 from 1-3:30pm.
The High School is located at 222 Turnpike Road, Montague, MA.
Please note any non student cast will have to be quarry checked before casting is finalized.
