Hunger Games Extras Auditions
Update: Some more information has been added for what casting directors are seeking for Hunger Games 3 Mockingjay.
Skinny Atlanta residents, here is your chance to be an extra in the third installment of the Hunger Games series of films (If you don’t get in this time, the series announced that a 4th movie will also be made).
Casting calls have gone out for extras that are on the skinny side – here is some more info… Hunger Games:
UNTITLED TRILOGY – Seeking THIN CHILDREN – 6 – 12 years old – ANY ethnicity. This works Wednesday, October 9th AND Thursday, October 10th. Please submit 3 photos of your child, their height, weight, age, as well as your information and a contact phone number to CLCastingKids@gmail.com – Subject “THIN CHILD”
Mockingjay is now filming in Atlanta and will keep filming into next month, the casting call for extras was updated to include: Men and women of any ethnicity, ages 25 and up, with medical staff experience, as well as amputees, yes, amputees. The production is looking for people who look like they may have been through an attack.
They are also still looking for people who are skinny and white, pale, thin men and women willing to shave their heads, ideally with experience as flight tower controllers. If you live in the Atlanta area and fit any of the above descriptions, you may have a shot to be in the film. You can submit your info by email, make sure you add a subject that fits what you are applying for. They are requesting that you use the words “MEDICAL STAFF”, “COMMAND CENTER CORE” or “REBELLION VICTIMS” in the subject line.
There is a casting call that went out in Atlanta for extras for an “Untitled Trilogy”. According to news information, this “Untitled Trilogy” is actually Hunger Games Mockingjay part 1 and the movie is filming in Atlanta Georgia. The Third installment of the film is curt into 2 parts. Mockingjay part 1 and Mockingjay part 2.
The new film is supposed to be the most action heavy of the series and has followed the path of Harry Potter which also split a film into 2 in order to fit the material into a 2 hour movie. Lionsgate had announced earlier this year that they will split the last installment of the series, Mockingjay, into two films, releasing Part 1 on November 21, 2014, and Part 2 on November 20, 2015.
The Hunger Games Catching Fire will be released in the US on November 22, 2013. It was directed by Francis Lawrence and acts as the prequel to The Hunger Games. The new movies, Mockingjay, now filming will act as sequels to the 1st Hunger Games film. If you are interested in being an extra and you live in the Atlanta area, please see below. This casting call is only for people who are 18 and over and live in the Atlanta Georgia area. All extras will be paid (about minimum wage) and you must be local because you would need to be on set short notice and no travel expenses will be covered for extras.
