Are you a San Diego Padres fan with a voice for baseball?
The San Diego Padres are looking for a new announcer and will be holding auditions for a PA announcer this month. Those interested can come on down and tryout for this very coveted job that will get you into every baseball game at Petco Park.
Tryouts for the job are coming up on the 25th and the top 3 selected will move on to another round that will include public voting on who they like most. No experience is necessary to get the job.
Petco Park, Padres PA announcer auditions:
Saturday, Jan. 25 2014
9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
This will be held at the park and people coming to audition may enter through the Home Plate gate on Park Blvd.
Auditions will be on a first come, first served basis and those arriving late may not get a a slot to be able to tryout.
Those considered to be semi-finalists from the open audition will then be interviewed by the ball club to narrow the number of candidates.
The people that are selected to move on will be interviewed by the Padres staff and theose chosen by the staff will then have a chance to go after their dream job at FanFest on February 8, 2014.
