Hip Hop Dance Auditions in Chicago on “Empire” TV Show

The new FOX drama “Empire” is looking to cast some hip hop dancers and auditions are coming up Monday.

The show’s casting directors are seeking dancers between the ages of 18 and 30 to appear in an episode of the show.

Empire” just premiered on FOX this month but is still in production for season 1. “Empire” is an hour-long drama that focuses on a family run music business. The series is created by Lee Daniels and Danny Strong (“Lee Daniels The Butler”) and stars Terrence Howard as the music mogul and the family patriarch. Also starring in “Empire” are Taraji P. Henson, Bryshere Gray, Jussie Smollett and Gabourey Sidibe. and Taraji P. Henson.

Empire” focuses on a successful hip hop record label. Terrence Howard plays Lucious, an ex street thug who turned to music and created Empire Records. Lucious is suffering from a fatal illness and must now find his successor. He has 3 sons, but none of them are ready to run the business. Adding to the family drama is the ex wife. She took the fall for Lucious years back. She w is out of prison and wants her piece of the pie as well.

The show airs on FOX Wednesday nights.

    I am in love with how the story is written . It shows that money doesn’t always buy happiness, celebs are also human and are capable of things that people do everyday. I love how it depicts family issues and the struggles they face but at the end of the day they love each other. I would love to be a part of this talented cast.
