CASTING SINGERS for “Café Chanson” Parisian Revue.
AUDITIONS 8/22+28 for Cabaret singers
This new show is a new musical revue of French popular songs from 1930-70, including famous songs popularized by Brel, Piaf, Aznavour & LeGrand (but these are not required to audition.) Some knowledge of French songs or singing in any Romance language would be helpful, but is not required. Songs in the show will be sung in English with occasional lines or verses added in French; we will train you phonetically to sing these verses.
A new musical revue featuring songs by Brel, LeGrand, Piaf & Aznavour. Singers 18-50+
plus seeking 1 MIME/emcee.
Rehearsal Schedule: 6 weeks of rehearsals plus TECH starting 9/15/2016.
Will rehearse 2-3 evenings per week in Sept./Oct. in Plantation & sometimes Weston.
Proposed schedule to be confirmed: Mon & Thu nights 6-9pm plus extra. Some Sunday afternoons possible also, TBD.
3 weekends of performances are booked Nov. 5-20 at DIF plus some possibility of some ongoing (unpaid) local gigs.
