Casting a scene from Requiem for A Dream for a graduate directing class at UM. The scene will rehearse and shoot in early November. Please send reel and availability for consideration.
Roles:
Sara Goldfarb: 40-60y/o, a lonely old widow and mother of a drug addict. She spends most of her time alone watching television. She’s begun taking diet pills in the hopes of fitting into a red dress for an upcoming appearance on television. She is motivated by her desire to make her son and late husband proud.
Harry Goldfarb: 20s, Sara’s son. A drug addicted young man who desperately wants to make those around him happy. He’s had recent brushes with success in the world of drug dealing. He is motivated by his desire to “be someone,” but his addiction always gets in the way of his success.
