SYNOPSIS: a charismatic woman, comedically reflects upon the (mis)perceptions of her afro-textured hair. The versatility of her hairstyles parallel her diverse, and sometimes awkward, encounters. Her narration begins with childhood memories and progresses into adulthood. Whether her experiences occur on the playground or in the workplace, bewilderment ensues.

CHARACTER BIO:

GiGi, 30, is a witty, humorous, sarcastic, free spirited, expressive, world traveling elementary school teacher.

COMPENSATION: $55, cash, for public transportation costs

PRODUCTION DATES: July 15-16, 2017, Two performances, Program A or B (Program A Saturday at 7pm & Sunday at 4pm, Program B Saturday at 9pm & Sunday at 2pm)

REHEARSAL DATES/LOCATION -May 1, 2017 – July 15, 2017, Eight 1 hour rehearsals in Brooklyn and/or Manhattan, must have script memorized by first rehearsal
