Open Call for Rockette auditions and audition for the Radio City Music Hall… The World Famous Rockettes will be holding open auditions for their Christmas show in both New York and Los Angeles, for the New York Rockette Audition schedule please go here. This is the casting call schedule for Los Angeles. Auditions will be held in May. The Radio City Music Hall will be acasting both children and adults for the Christmas show. Please read all the information below regarding both child auditions and adult dancer auditions for the show. Please be advised of the following requirements for all performers:
Other than children, dancers and performers will need to be of age which is 18 by August of 2010 to even be considered for the casting call and role in the show. The casting company, MSGE is committed to ethnically diverse casting for all roles. All auditioners must be United States citizens or have a green card or permit which gives them the right to live, work and audition for jobs in the US.
The 2010 Radio City Christmas Spectacular Auditions will take place in New York and in Los Angeles in April and May of 2010, There will be no Chicago auditions this year. GENERAL AUDITION INFORMATION for dancers and performers wishing to apply for Radio City Music Hall
Except for children, all performers must be 18 years of age (by August of current year) to be considered for casting. MSGE is committed to ethnically diverse casting for all roles. You must be a US citizen or have a current legal permit which allows you to work in the US to be considered for casting.
Contract dates range from early October/early November to late December/early January, depending on which show you are cast in.
Travel and Housing are provided for all performers in shows performing outside New York City. No travel or housing is provided for the performers of the show in New York. Tutoring is provided for all children. If cast in the show, performers will be offered an American Guild of Variety Artists (AGVA) contract with competitive salaries and benefits.
ROCKETTE REQUIREMENTS
ROCKETTES must be between 5’6″ and 5’10 1/2″ tall (measurements will be taken in stocking feet). Rockette candidates must be proficient in jazz and tap.
