Oprah Winfrey Network (OWN) Auditions and Open Call
The Oprah Winfrey Network is teaming up with Kohl’s Department stores for a new talent search and series called
“Your OWN Show: Oprah’s Search For The Next TV Star.”
The Oprah Network is looking to give someone their own show and the nationwide search begins today!
If you think you are TV’s next big star, you can audition online for the chance to prove it.
Online auditions begin May 14 and last until June 26.

Open Call Procedure:
Interested applicants should come to the audition location with completed application (which they download from the website). Numbered wristbands will be distributed at 8am and the interviews will begin at 9am. Only the first 500 are guaranteed to be seen. We may conduct group interviews.
At the end of Day 1 Producers will determine who will be called back for an on camera audition to be shot the next day.
NOTE: In person auditions will not be uploaded to the Your OWN Show website for voting. The casting directors and OWN will judge all in-person contestants. You may also submit an online audition if you audition in person
To audition, contestants can make a three-minute audition video and upload it to Oprah.com.
The public will then vote on the best audition and the five people who get the most votes will be flown to Los Angeles to audition.
Contestants must be 21 to participate.
The winner of the star search will get their own talk show on the network
