ATLANTA – MAY 2010 – Christopher B. Pearman- Producer, Director, Founder, Creator of the Pajama 5 Project (The PJ5 Club) and Critically acclaimed Author of the book Dream So Big, father and former manager of Raven-Symone, of the hit TV show “That’s So Raven”, the Disney Channel’s longest running and highest rated series has partnered with, legendary Director/Producer, Oz Scott, who has worked on projects such as Disney’s The Cheetah Girls as well as episodes of CSI: New York, and producers Alvin and Calvin Waters on the PJ5 Project.
The PJ5 Club was created by Pearman for young girls, ages 9 to 17, providing them a forum to discuss their fears, desires, ideas and aspirations with others in a safe and non-judgmental or critical environment by way of cyber technology and pod cast interaction. The Pajama 5 Project is designed to bring international exposure, and accessibility, where girls are looked after and mentored by women who are very successful in their given fields. Each girl will be presented with challenges to exercise and expand her problem-solving ability, imagination, creativity, to nurture her confidence, create her own identity and express her individual ideas. At the same time, each girl will be encouraged to work together to accomplish the goals as a team. The PJ5 Club members will perform and entertain while enlightening and educating the audience.
We will began a five city tour starring in Atlanta for our quest for five multi-talented and multi-cultural girls ranging from 9 to 17 to be a part of thepj5 project, these young girls at will highlight and use their talents in music, television and movies injunction with the pj5 project initiative.
The team will be holding casting auditions for original cast members of The Pajama 5 Project (The PJ5 Club) on Tuesday, June 8, 2010 from 1:00 to 4:00 PM at Macy’s at Lenox Square Mall.
