“Checkmate” is a drama set in present day Atlanta. It is the story of a mid 30’s ex model who thought she had the perfect life. She married her handsome high school sweetheart and has beat cancer in the past. When the doctor tells her the cancer is back, she decides she doesn’t want to fight anymore. Instead she decides to leave and die alone, but not before trying to find a new wife for her husband.
