Monkeywood Theatre are holding open auditions to meet actors for forthcoming projects.
Monkeywood Theatre are a Manchester based theatre company currently touring with the acclaimed Once in a House on Fire. Previous work includes Last Orders, Maine Road and A Song for the Lovers.
We have a busy programme planned for 2011 onwards and want to meet actors to work with on upcoming tours and future projects. On Saturday 11th June 2011, we plan to meet as many new faces as possible.
In order for us to see as many people as we can in one day, we’re auditioning people in pairs and would like auditionees to perform a 5 minute duologue from any play written in the last 15 years.

We’ll email you back on Monday 30th May 2011 to let you know if we can offer you an audition slot

Choose and rehearse your piece
We are hoping to meet a total of 22 pairs on the day, so get your application in quick to secure a slot. We will prioritise actors whose work we haven’t seen before and those who are based in the North West.
