Modeling for girls 6 to 11 years old – open model auditions
Fashion show for girls sizes 6x and 10 only!
American Girl will be holding a fashion show and is holding open casting calls for girls that would like to model in a runway show. The fashion show is looking for models that are either a size 6x or a size 10.
The American Girl Fashion Show will be held in March 2014 Burritt on the Mountain, 3101 Burritt Dr SE Huntsville, AL 35801. Burritt on the Mountain is a public 167-acre, scenic site overlooking Huntsville, Alabama, featuring a 19th century living history.
The fashion show will be holding fashion show casting calls this weekend on the 19th and 20th.
Margo Alford who is the fashion show chair said “We’re just looking for a picture for our file purposes, not a professional headshot.”, “All they have to do is bring the casting call application and headshot with them,”
The casting will be done in individual time slots and every girl who auditions will need to go through a short interview with a panel that will be selecting models for the show. The show is looking to cast 60 models in total, 30 girls who are a size 6x and 30 who are a size 10.
Girls are not required to wear American girl clothing for the casting call. American Girl makes dolls and sleepwear for girls.
For the fashion show itself, the size 10 girls will model three American Girl outfits – historical, sleepwear and a playwear – and the size 6x girls will model daywear and sleepwear from the American Girl Bitty Baby line. Each model will carry a doll during the event wearing a matching outfit.
