We are casting our 8th film, I LOVE YOU BECAUSE, based upon a play written by playwright, Thomas J. Kline. I LOVE YOU BECAUSE is a wonderful story which chronicles the journey of Natalie and Kevin as they experience the ups and downs of pregnancy. Part drama, part comedy, I LOVE YOU BECAUSE touches on the universal themes of happiness, fear, and what it means to love someone.
In order for us to see as many people as possible, we ask that you submit an audition video. The video should include a section in which you tell us a little bit about yourself and a section of you performing a monologue that shows off your acting talents. Other than that, the video can be anything you want. You can take it with your phone, webcam, whatever.
No experience necessary!! If you don’t have a demo reel or monologue prepared, you can tell us a joke or a funny story, etc.
There are three ways for you to submit:
1. Send us the link to your video on Facebook, at www.facebook.com/dajavufilms;
2. Email us the link to your video at casting@dajavufilms.com (be sure to add us to your safe list so you won’t miss our response);
3. Mail a DVD of your audition video to DaJa Vu Films, 4300 Simon Brown Road, Groveland FL, 34736
We’ve had several people who have submitted, but have not included a video. Please make sure you follow directions. This is part of our screening process. If you cannot follow these simple submission directions, it implies you will not be able to follow our direction on set.
We have paid and unpaid roles available.
This is an open audition so feel free to pass the information on to anyone you know who may be interested.
