Gordon Ramsay hosted “MasterChef” is coming back to FOX for season 5 of the cooking reality competition. An open casting call is scheduled for Kansas City and New York for the 26th and Denver on November 2nd 2013. The new season will air on FOX in 2014.

If you think you are ready to compete, sharpen up those knives and get cooking because you will be expected to bring a prepared dish with you to the open casting call for judges to taste. You will also be scored on presentation and you will be given a few minutes to get your dish plated. Though you will have a minute to plate, you will not be able to prepare or re-heat anything so your dish must come with you at your desired temperature.
In order to qualify you must be 18 or older and a U.S. citizen living in the United States. Also, you must not be a professional cook or work in any food industry, nor can you be making a living at anything food or restaurant related.
