Models, here is your chance to tryout for Oxygen’s “the Face” modeling reality show.
Have you always heard that you should have been a model? Here is your chance! America’s Next Top Model move over because The Face is casting in now!
The Face TV modeling competition is holding a casting call for season 2. Naomi Campbell is coming back to Oxygen and looking for aspiring models in the US to be “The Face”.
“The Face” is hosted by photographer Nigel Barker (America’s Next Top Model) and uses teams headed by supermodel coaches Naomi Campbell, Karolina Kurkova and Coco Rocha. The supermodels pick their teams of aspiring models and the race is on to find out whose team will win and which girl will become The Face and win a lucrative modeling contract. Last seasons winner got a contract with ULTA beauty products.
Even though there does not seem to be a height requirement, the show is specifically interested in models 5’7″ and above
The face is holding an open casting call in NYC next month and season 2 will begin production in the fall of 2013 to be on air in 2014.
You must be a US resident 18 years or older to qualify to be on the show.

The show is requesting that you pre-register on their site before you come and also bring any portfolio you have and your resume.
They also want to see girls in a more natural light. Simple to no makeup with natural hair. They are also requesting that girls wear comfy shoes yet bring a pair of heels with them, wear jeans and a form fitting t-shirt with a bathing suit underneath.
Producers are asking that ladies not bring any friends or family to the casting call because they will not be allowed in. Only models that would like to audition for the modeling reality series will be allowed to enter the studio.
