CASTING: MALE, 25-30 YEARS OLD, CAUCASIAN.
CHARACTER DESCRIPTION: Born and raised in Quebec, Augustine has a French Quebec accent, but speaks fluent English. He has shaggy hair and five o’clock shadow. Augustine is a very serious-minded and introspective person who is usually quiet in social settings. Despite his introverted and soft-spoken nature, he is an incredibly dynamic live music performer on stage.
SYNOPSIS: The film tells the story of a Montreal-based indie rock band who embark on a roadtrip to Toronto during the Quebec referendum of 1995. The scene will shoot over the course of two days March 30-31st.
PROJECT INFO: Directors – Ian McDowell & Colin Soutar. This is a short film project produced and directed by two film students enrolled in Centennial College’s Broadcast and Film program. For this production piece, we are shooting a single scene from our feature film screenplay entitled ‘Lean On The Music’.
DVD copies of the completed scene will be made available to all participants upon completion for your reels.
