FOX’s new series ‘Red Band Society’, is looking to cast some featured couples.
CSC is seeking couples in their late 20’s to late 30’s that have a California look and can pass as having middle school aged kids of their own. Casting directors are looking for people who have a relaxed, creative look and who have never worked on the series. The scene films in the Atlanta area between the 5th and 16th of this month. Those interested in the roles must apply ASAP because all submissions must be in by today.
Steven Spielberg and his company Amblin Television are behind the new show which is described as ‘Glee‘ meets ‘The breakfast Club‘. Academy Award winner Octavia Spenser will star in this coming-of-age story which is set in the pediatric wing of a hospital.
Octavia Spenser plays a staff nurse who tells it like it is. The show also stars Ciara Bravo of Nickelodeon’s Big Time Rush and Nolan Sotillociara of Prom. ‘The Red Band Society’ is based on a Spanish language series called “Polseres Vermelles“, created by Albert Espinosa who was inspired by his own childhood experiences.
