Casting Call for Teens in NYC for “Gotham”

 FOX “Gotham” is casting teens (16+) for season 1 in NYC

The show’s CD’s are looking for some hardcore / punk rock types for an episode that will be filming next week in New York. Thew age range is 16 to 20 and they would like to get submissions from those who have piercings, tattoos, colored hair, etc. The new Batman prequel just premiered on FOX a few weeks back but is still filming the first season.

The series stars Ben McKenzie (“Southland“), Donal Logue (“Sons of Anarchy“, “Vikings“) and Jada Pinkett Smith (“The Matrix“). Gotham focuses on the characters and villains of the Batman comics before Batman was a vigilante. “GOTHAM” follows Gordon before he rose up in the police force, while he was still a detective and just getting to know the iconic characters from the comics. Bruce Wayne / Batman is part of the show, but not the focus. In the series Bruce Wayne and Cat Woman are still kids, orphans, struggling to find a place in the world.

The show is being produced by Bruno Heller (“The Mentalist”) who also wrote the pilot. Directing the new FOX series is Emmy Award nominee Danny Cannon (the “CSI”).

“Gotham” is Seeking UNION & NONUNION 16+ YEAR OLDS TO PORTRAY 16-20 YEAR OLD HARDCORE TYPES- Tattoos, Piercings, Colored Hair etc. Works Thursday 10/16, There will be a fitting before the work date, possibly this week.
