Story Street Studio is casting a white female actress 28-40 years old black male child actor 5-7 years old for The Sixth Day, a visually poetic independent short film production about a mother that wakes up everyday to witness her 5-year old son die. Everyday she tries but fails to prevent her adopted son from dying.
Auditions will take place Sunday, September 26, 2014 from 2-5pm. This is a non-paid acting gig with high production value. We will submit this film to top tier national and international film festivals.
Actors will receive a digital and DVD copy of the film, an edited version suitable for an acting reel, and of course meals during the rehearsals and production.
Production is scheduled for the last weekend in October.
