Rescue Me is the story of a young man from Chicago, IL named Trell Freeman who tries to deal with the struggles of being in a dysfunctional family, coping with the loss of both his mother and grandmother to cancer, and losing best friend to gun violence.
In the midst of all his troubles he tries to rebuild a relationship with his estranged father whom he haven’t seen in 13 years all while seeking a path to find his faith in God.
