“The Originals” is filming a funeral scene in Conyers and is looking for people who can work as High Steppers on set.
This is for work on Thursday in the Conyers, Georgia area. There is also a second casting call for boys who are 8 to 10 years old to work in the funeral scene as well, see CW “The Originals” Needs Boys 8 to 10 in Atlanta
Though the show films in Georgia, the show is set in the New Orleans area and the scene is for a NOLA style funeral procession.
Extras casting is being handled by CL casting in Atlanta. YOU MUST BE WILLING TO WORK IN CONYERS as a LOCAL – Pay rate is $125 for 10 hrs with OT after that. Fittings for the scene will be taking place tomorrow, so apply ASAP if interested.
Casting for a CAUCASIAN MALE HIGH STEPPER, age 18-40
For those of you unfamiliar- High Steppers are very lively people in the front of a NOLA-style funeral or wedding PARADE (called a “second line”) – think of a drum major with lots of energy and dancing
All submission should have any of the following experience:
DANCING (trained or legit experience – contemporary or other hip-hip or other relatable energetic dancing), or if you were on an energetic MARCHING BAND with choreography, energetic DRUM MAJORS, or if you are part of a STEP DANCE TEAM….etc… or other relatable experience that would qualify you to be an ENERGETIC HIGH STEPPER

New faces OR repeats ok, as long as you have not been featured or anyone that plays another specific featured group of extras on the show… you know who you are (vampires, witches, warlocks, werewolves, etc…)
FILMS in CONYERS and will be daytime filming and going late into the night so you must be open ALL day and night that day.
