“Vamipre Diaries” will be filming a college scene in Decatur Georgia this weekend and next week. They are seeking background extras that can commit to all 5 days on the set which will include some long hours on set.
Extras casting is being done by Background Artists Atlanta and they are ONLY looking for Atlanta residents. The filming dates are the 22nd, 26th, 28th, March 1st and March 6th in Decatur. While extras will be paid an hourly rate (about minimum wage) for their time on set, no travel expenses will be covered.
They are seeking extras ages 18 to 32 that have a very flexible schedule and can get on set on short notice since call times have not been set yet, in the Atlanta / Decatur area.
“Vampire Diaries” and it’s spin-off “The Originals” are both filming in Georgia right now and both have been releasing casting notices for work this month.
Both shows air on the CW network.

VAMPIRE DIARIES (PLEASE READ CAREFULLY) is looking for extras to work this Saturday, Feb 22nd in Decatur, GA. (This scene will also shoot Wed, Feb 26th, Friday, Feb 28th, Monday, March 3rd and Thursday, March 6th in Decatur. For continuity purposes, we are looking for a core group of people that can commit to shooting ALL FIVE of these dates. You will be strategically placed in this scene and it is important that once you are established on camera you can return for the rest of the shoot dates)
We do not have call times for the FIVE dates just yet (call time will go out the day before each shoot day) but please be prepared to work a minimum of 8-10hrs each day. IF YOU KNOW YOUR SCHEDULE IS NOT FLEXIBLE TO SPEND A MINIMUM OF 8 – 10 HRS ON SET REGARDLESS OF CALL TIME THEN DO NOT COMMIT TO WORKING ALL FIVE DATES. You will be given an opportunity to submit for each day individually.
This is a college scene and wardrobe will be Fall casual.
With that said, if you are available to work just Saturday please submit with subject line “SATURDAY”.
If you are submitting to work all FIVE dates please submit with the subject line “CORE” (those selected to work all FIVE dates will be contacted.)
