Here you go, the Vampire Diaries is currently filming and casting directors for the show are seeking to fill some paid extras roles. The show films in the Atlanta, GA area and casting directors will only hire extras that are local to the area. People who want to be extras on the Vampire Diaries but live outside of Atlanta will not be considered because call times are usually done short notice and travel expenses are not covered.
Vampire Diaries is a supernatural story teen fantasy / drama / love story about a teenage girl played by Nina Dobrev who falls for a very old vampire. The show takes place in a fictional town called Mystic Falls. The TV vampire drama was developed by Kevin Williamson and Julie Plec. The TV show is based on the novels written by L. J. Smith. The show has been on air for 5 seasons now and has reached it’s 100th episode milestone.
All extras will be paid. The pay for most extras will be an hourly rate that is around minimum wage or about $64 / per 8 hour day. The shoot is normally 8 to 12 hours and any time over the 8 hours will be overtime.

Julie Plec recently commented on the next episode that will air on the 30th, she had this to say “I love the next episode so much because it’s this great fallout of everything that happened in the 100th and it’s so much fun,” she added that episode 12, The Devil Inside is “so painful and wonderful. I’m excited about the next few actually.”
