“Alvin and the Chipmunks 4” New Call for Extras in Atlanta

Extras casting call in Atlanta for the new “Chipmunks” movie, “Alvin and the Chipmunks: Road Chip“.

The 4th installment in the  Alvin and the Chipmunks franchise is now in production and filming in the Atlanta area.  CL casting has a call out for extras to fill a variety of roles for ages 18 to 60+ for scenes that will be filming in the ATL and Rex, GA areas on the 13th and 16th of this month.

The movie’s IMDB page names the films cast. Matthew Gray Gubler  will voice Simon, Justin Long  will take on Alvin and Theodore will be voiced by Jesse McCartney.  Walt Becker is directing the new film  which will be a mixture of live action and CGI like the previous one.  This time around the Chipmunks go on a Road trip to look for Dave. Through a series of misunderstandings,  Alvin, Simon and Theodore come to believe that Dave is looking to dump them as he goes to New York City to propose to his girlfriend. They set off in search of Dave to try to talk him out of what he is doing and hopefully stop the proposal. Not only are they worried about losing Dave for good, but are also threatened by the possibility of getting a stepbrother they don’t get along with.  “Alvin and the Chipmunks 4, Road Chip” currently has a Christmas time scheduled release of December 23, 2015.
