Are you a football fan or ready to play one?
Ang Lee’s new film, “Billy Lynn’s Long Halftime Walk” needs male paid extras to work during a tailgate scene that will be filming shortly in the Atlanta area. The movie’s extras casting directors with CL Casting are seeking some “new faces”, folks who have not yet worked as extras on this project. They will also be considering people who have worked on this film as long as they did have featured roles. They are looking for guys to play football fans, all ethnicities are welcome between the ages if 18 and 80.
Ang Lee is directing “Billy Lynn’s Long Halftime Walk”, a film about US soldiers that is based on Ben Fountain’s New York Times bestselling novel. The film focuses mainly on one day, the Dallas Cowboys football game on Thanksgiving. The story follows a US military soldier named Billy Lynn who is part of a team that just got back from the Iraq war. Billy Lynn, a 19-year-old private survives an intense battle, “the Battle of Al-Ansakar Canal“, which is captured by news cameras. The news story acts to catapult him and the other survivors into the public eye. Lynn and the team of soldiers are subsequently brought home by the U.S. government to go on a promotional tour to rally support for the war effort. The tour ends with an appearance at the Thanksgiving Day halftime show which includes a performance by the Beyoncé led group, Destiny’s Child. However, after the promotional tour ends, they face an imminent return to the war. Almost the entire movie takes place during the day of the game, with flashes back to the war they had just returned from.
