Based on a true story, radio talk show host Dawn Richardson, a cancer survivor, inspires listeners with her life experience on overcoming the fear of having cancer after falling in love all over again.

ROLES:
1. Dawn, 25-35, Female, slim/average, African American – Main Character. Diagnosed with cancer, motivated, well-educated, determined, warm hearted with an inspirational talk show in ATL. Two daughters from her husband Frank.
2. Juan, 18-25, Male, athletic, African American – Dawn’s brother. Creative. High school dropout. Focus on making fast money. Street smart. 4yrs younger than Dawn.
3. Mother, 50-60, Female, African American – Very spiritual, backbone of family, very wise, preach family often, very supportive recovering addict.
4. Frank, 25-35, Male, African American – Dawn’s Husband. Very popular, hustler, traveler. Great father to his daughters. Very supportive to his wife, Dawn.
5. Mr. Kelly, 45-55, Male, Caucasian – Head of Law Firm, equal opportunity, leader, fears his wife.
6. Mrs. Kelly, 45-55, Female, Caucasian – Mr. Kelly’s Wife. Racist, rude, control freak, power abuser.
7. Steve, 30-40, Male, African American – Dawn’s boyfriend & guardian Angel, funny, wise, free spirit, supportive.
REHEARSAL AND PRODUCTION DATES & LOCATIONS
Shooting mostly in Washington, DC April 20th through May 20th. Very few days in ATL. One rehearsal day.
