New Extras Call on Kevin Spacey’s “Elvis & Nixon” in New Orleans

A new casting call for extras has been released in the New Orleans, Louisiana area for “Elvis & Nixon

Kevin Spacey stars as Nixon in this film about the historical meeting between Elvis Presley and Richard Nixon at the White House. Michael Shannon is set to play the Elvis Presley. “Elvis & Nixon” is just beginning production in Louisiana and Central is currently casting extras and featured extras in the New Orleans area.

The movie is set during a week in 1970 when Elvis Presley showed up at the White House looking to meet then President Nixon. On December 21st 1970 Elvis
came to the White House with a request for Nixon, Elvis wanted to offer his help to the Bureau of Narcotics and Dangerous Drugs and asked for a BNDD badge.

Elvis & Nixon – Working in New Orleans

We are currently casting the background roles below. Please read carefully for specs and tentative work date(s). All BG roles pay $88/10 and will work in the New Orleans metro area.

– Security/Police – 20’s-40’s Caucasian Looking Men, 5’9-6’1″, 40-44 coat. Will work at least one day on 1/29, 1/30 or 2/3.
– Airline Employees – Attractive 20’s-40’s Caucasian Looking Men & Women. Men should be no larger than a 42R coat and women no larger than a Size 8. Will work at least one day on 1/30, 2/2 or 2/3.
– Hotel Staff – 30’s-40’s African American Looking Men around 5’8-5’11” and no bigger than a 36 waist. Will work on 2/2.
– Marines – 20’s-early30’s Caucasian looking Men. Must be willing to have a high & tight haircut and be in good fit condition. Will work on 2/10.
– Background who own / have access to pre-1970 cars. Cars should be in good cosmetic condition as the movie takes place in 1970.
– Elvis Impersonator – Any ethnicity male who does this and has his own costume.
– Amputee – 20’s-30’s Caucasian looking Man that is an amputee.

Elvis & Nixon – Working in New Orleans on February 3rd

We are taking submissions for Elvis & Nixon working on Tuesday, February 3rd. We will book this work date tomorrow as we have to send through security clearance by the end of day tomorrow. That being said, ONLY submit if you are 100% available on the 3rd and can completely commit, along with getting yourself to New Orleans. We cannot replace you!

“Airport Passengers” – All Ethnicities, 20’s-60’s looking. You should have a good 1970 look. There is a limited stock of wardrobe for this scene, so please see below:
– Men = Fuller hair, afros, long hippy-ish hair; beards and mustaches are great, just no goatees; No larger than a 44 coat and a 36 waist
– Women = Medium length hair or Long hippy-ish hair; No larger than a size 8.
