New Casting Notice out for CW’s supernatural themed series “Vampire Diaries”
While many productions are on hiatus for the holidays, their casting directors are still hard at work booking talent for upcoming episodes filming in 2016. “Vampire Diaries” picks up production in early January and is now casting background talent to appear in an episode filming during the second week of January 2016. The show is seeking fit talent to play armory agents in a scene filming on the 12th in the Decatur area. Thew show is also seeking Native American or Hispanic extras to play elders in a scene filming on the 13th in Conyers, GA. See below for submission instructions.
The “Vampire Diaries” is a supernatural / Fantasy drama series which airs on the CW Network. The show is developed by Kevin Williamson and Julie Plec. The show is based on the book series also called “vampire Diaries” which was written by L. J. Smith. The show first aired on CW in ’09. The show revolves around a woman named Elena (Nina Dobrev) who falls for a very old vampire, Stefan, and then gets tangled up in a love triangle which includes her new beau’s brother. The popular CW show also spawned a spin-off called “The Originals” which focuses on one of the Vampire families featured in the series. “The Originals” also films in Georgia.

A lot of times we can’t submit people because their photo isn’t appropriate for the role submitted for, we can’t clearly see the person in the picture, picture is of poor quality, etc. A current candid photo taken on a camera phone in good lighting is sufficient majority of the time.

OK so here’s my thought or idea. so when Candice has her baby on the show… the baby should be on the show for about half a season or until the last episode when elena comes back because then everybody would be grown up and Caroline’s kid would be older but only like 16 because age 13 is when you should officially become your paranormal self.
