Auditions for Principal Roles in Virginia on AMC Show

“Turn: Washington’s Spies” audition notice for actors.

The series is now filming a new season and is holding auditions for actors to fill the role of an executioner in an upcoming episode. These are principal roles which will be paid principal SAG scale rates. The roles will require an audition that will take place in the Richmond area.

Please note that the show films around the Richmond, Virginia area and the CD’s will only be considering talent that is local to the area.

Turn: Washington’s Spies  is set in 1778 and tells the story of America’s first spy ring. The story centers around a New York farmer named Abe Woodhull. Abe and his a group of his childhood friends come together to form The Culper Ring, an unlikely group of spies who turn the tide in America’s fight for independence and help George Washington win the Revolutionary war.

AMC’s television series Turn: Washington’s Spies is filming in the Central Virginia area, and Arvold Casting is seeking actors who look authentically from the Revolutionary War period for principal group singing roles. TURN is adapted from the nonfiction book Washington’s Spies by Alexander Rose. The story is centered on a band of young soldiers and civilians who were part of the secret spy ring during the Revolutionary War.
