The writers of Ghostlight the musical are seeking submissions for their new play THE WEAK ONES, which will be presented on Friday, March 18th at 9:00 PM as part of the Emerging Artists New Works Series. Performance will take place at the TADA! Theatre, 15 West 28th Street in NYC. Dir., Matthew Martin.

SEEKING:
Noah Taylor, LEAD. Caucasian child actor to play 5-6 years old (Actor can be older, but read no older than 7). Noah is the son of George Taylor (who will be played by Tim Realbuto), a single father dealing with the stress of defending a guilty woman. Noah is an innocent child dealing with nightmares after the sudden loss of his mother and sister.
IMPORTANT NOTE: The Weak Ones deals with a sensitive subject matter. However, Noah’s scenes are of a slightly lighter nature than the rest of the play.

Also seeking:
Izzie, SUPPORTING. African American female, 20’s-40’s. A tough correctional officer who knows more about the legal system than she ever bargained for. She has seen it all, but holds her emotions in, keeping tight-lipped about it most of the time.

Auditions will be held by appointment only on Friday, February 19th starting at 3:00 PM at a studio in midtown.

The Weak Ones

Rehearsals will take place end of February and March around actor’s schedule. Equity actors receive a $200 stipend. Non-Equity actors may also receive small stipend.
