Auditions for Kids and teens ages 8 to 21 in the Bay area for upcoming indie film “Broadway Musical Movie”.
Please note that there is a fee to participate.
Director, Producer, and Filmmaker John Bisceglie seeks local youth ages 8-21 to appear in “Broadway Movie Musical,” a salute to the American musical.
Record in a pro recording studio, work on a movie set with a film crew, then see yourself on the silver screen when “Broadway Movie Musical” premieres in selected Bay Area movie theaters in January 2017.
Seeking diverse and dynamic youth performers to perform classic and contemporary Broadway musical theater songs. Cast members will appear in multiple solo, duet, group and ensemble numbers. Our convenient and exciting program with only one rehearsal per week will be offered in San Francisco, San Jose & Morgan Hill. No experience required, and all who audition will be accepted.
The registration fee is $295 per child. Cast members are responsible for providing dance shoes, costumes and selling movie tickets to the film.
Rehearsals: (Cast members meet for 1.5 hours per day. Specific rehearsal times will be determined after casting.)
San Francisco: Saturday rehearsals from 10:30am-2:30pm. June 4 – July 30.
San Jose: Wednesday rehearsals 4-7:30pm. May 25 – Aug 3.
Morgan Hill: Thursday rehearsals from 4-7:30pm. June 2 – July 28.
Filming: (Please note that not all cast members will be needed for each film date. Scheduling will be based on your role and location.) August 4, 5, 6, 7, 11, 12, 13. Some cast members may also be asked to be available to film on Aug 20, 27, & September 3, 10, 17.
