If you love Candy Crush, here is a chance to play the game on TV
CBS is now working on a Candy Crush game show and casting calls are out. The Candy Crush TV show is casting teams of 2 with some candy crush skills to play an interactive televised version of one of the most popular smart phone games ever. If you have a candy crushing partner, this is a chance to let your skills make some money for you. Since this is a gameshow, up for grabs will be some big cash prizes to the winning teams.
The show has launched an online casting call and gamers wanting to be contestants can apply to be on the show online. The online form will ask some important info including asking you to rate your Candy Crush skill level and which level of Candy Crush have you made it to.
Candy Crush is a mobile platform game made by King in 2012. The game caught on quickly and just 2 years later, in 2014, the game saw close to 100 million downloads. Today, the original Candy Crush game boasts over 500 million downloads and has spin-off games such as Candy Crush Soda and Candy Crush Jelly which also boast over 100 million downloads each. In the game, players swap brightly colored candies to reach a set goal within a certain amount of moves. Players quickly move through the levels with each level being just a little bit tougher than the previous. Hard core players can reach level numbers which exceed 1000.
