Casting Actress in Dallas for Recurring, Paid Role in Kid’s Biblical Based Show

Young Woman (20s) for Recurring Role in Faith-Based Kids Series

Location: Dallas, Texas

Type: Educational

We are looking for a fun, sparkly, youthful young woman (20s) who can act and sing, to join the cast of You Connection. We are a Christian nonprofit organization providing biblical character education through media, literature, curriculum, music, and live shows, geared for ages 8-12.

You Connection presents its material in a hip, fun, sketch comedy style, using creativity and performance as tools to present valuable biblical truths. We are casting for Megs, the sparkling, well-meaning, slightly nutty assistant to Mr. Q (the main character, played by You Connection founder Matt Kramer).

We are looking for an actress/singer who fits this description and is interested in doing recurring work for us, as Megs is intended to be a recurring character in many of our projects. (She already exists as an “unseen” character in our current videos) We are producing a 4th video set in MARCH/APRIL, and presenting our first “You Connection Live” show in the Summer, which are the first two projects that “Megs” would be involved in.

We can pay $800 per project, which will likely increase as we continue getting funding this year. (The 4th video set will require 4-5 days, evenings or weekend; the live show will require 2-3 weeks, like an ordinary theatrical show)

Contact info@youconnection.org to schedule an audition. Please attach headshot or current photo. Due to potential volume, please understand if we do not respond. Deadline for submission JANUARY 31.

Visit www.youconnection.org for more info about us. Keep in mind this is a Christian organization, so all our material is, of course, Bible-based.
