Lifetime announced that “Devious Maids” will be coming back with an all new season and the show is in production now.
The network ordered 10 episodes for season 4 which are just about to begin production in Georgia. Season 4 will consist of 10 episodes. Ana Ortiz, Ramirez, Roselyn Sanchez, Judy Reyes, Edy Ganem, Rebecca Wisocky and Susan Lucci are all coming back to the fancy Beverly Hills mansions to continue the drama, murder and mayhem.
“Devious Maids” films in Georgia but the story is set in Beverly Hills. In Beverly Hills, whoever “has the dirt” holds the power and on this show it happens to be the maids. “Devious Maids” is a comedy-drama about a close knit group of Latina Maids working for some of the city’s wealthiest families. The show features a Latina main cast and is executive produced by Eva Longoria.
The new season will be bringing on at least 2 new characters new characters that will be stirring up even more trouble and Peri Westmore will be returning to turn up the heat. “Devious Maids” is based on the hit telenovela “Ellas son… la alegría del hogar,” (The Disorderly Maids of the Neighborhood) which is a Spanish language comedy airing in Mexico. and was created by Marc Cherry with ABC studios. Fans of the show have a few months to wait. “Devious Maids” season 4 is set to premiere in the spring of 2016.
According to a story in Deadline, “Devious Maids” season 3 was a steady performer for the network. The show launched with 1.47 million viewers and ended with a 1.53 million. The season finale which ran on August 24 also hit highs among the 25-54 year old demographic.
The show begins production this month and casting directors are now accepting submissions from GA locals who would love to work as a paid TV show extra. The series has a form up for those wanting to be considered for upcoming small roles as well as a current need for certain types in scenes filming this week and next.
