The Girl With the Red Gloves

Casting for “The Girl With the Red Gloves,” a short film following a young woman named Willow who has a special ability to see into other people’s pasts. Loads of actors will be needed, in order to pull off the “flashback” effect. Will be submitted to various festivals, nationwide.

CHARACTER DESCRIPTIONS:
Penelope Stephens (Mother)
35-55
Role Description: A loving mother and wife, constantly pushing for her daughter’s well-being. Plays ignorant to the fact her husband is cheating on her. Overall happy person, hides the pain she feels.
Mike Stephens (Father)
35-55
Constantly stressed and over-working himself all week, he grows apathetic towards life. Was initially a very personable man, yet was reduced to a liar and cheater in his adult years.
Mailman
Any age
Cheery mailman, always smiling. Must provide appropriate mailman attire, if cast.
Ezra Addario
16-20
Similar to Willow, Ezra has a special ability. He can see into the future. He is a playful character with a heart-wrenching smolder, and a warm smile. Plays the primary love interest in the film.
Extras
Any age
A HUGE range of people is welcome to audition to be an extra. All, or most, extras will at least have one line. They will make the flashback sequences come to life.
Videos are recommended with each submission.
