We are looking for 20-35 year old female actress fluent in Japanese that can commit two nights of shooting on a short film in Manhattan – paid. Please submit photos and reels asap. Project is a short film, a ear future romance about the power of memory and the intermingling of narrative-building and reality.
Casting: 25-35 year old Japanese / Japanese-American female.
Requirements: fluent in English and Japanese
Role: Kumi:
A cutting, and intelligent 20 something with a mischievous streak. Kumi is in love. She is antagonistic and irreverent. Her hubris and charm cover an inner sadness.
Director is a visual, emotional story teller who has contributed to projects by Tom McCarthy, Marco Brambilla, Sofia Coppola and Bruce Webber.
