A coming of age story about five diverse best friends in their second and third year of high school, (Sophmore and Junior.) breaking the racial barriers of friendships and stereotpyes. These West Palm Beach teens are the Queens of ‘Social Season’. Mai, Brandi, Jasmine, Veronica, and Summer are celebrating the next few months school free! Parties, Friends, New people, Boys, Breaking the law, and Parents, what could go wrong?
Lead Characters:
Mai Pho
She is a Vietnamese/Chinese/ or Asian teen (16-18, Must look high school age, ANY SIZE-ANY HEIGHT)
Quiet, kind, and conscientious. Often puts the needs of others above their own needs. Observer with rich inner world of observations about people. Very perceptive of other’s feelings. Private and polite. Timid, socially uncomfortable, modest, not confrontational, easily hurt. Fears drawing attention to self. Easily frightened. Easily offended or hurt. Prone to crying. Lower energy. Follows the rules, dutiful and responsible.
Brandi Childs
She is an African American female. (16-18, ALREADY CASTED!)
Outspoken, Hopeless Romantic, and assertive. Enjoys people and is stimulating company. Outgoing, social, open, attention seeking. Insensitive. Always joking. The life of the party. Creative, resourceful, and intellectually quick. Rule breaker, risk taker, thrill seeker.
Jasmine Mcrae
She is an African American female. (16-18, ALL SIZES-ALL HEIGHTS)
Friendly. Great people skills. Outgoing, social, group oriented. Does not like to be alone. Open. Likes to be the center of attention. Likes external praise. Likes crowds. Self-confident. Good at getting people to have fun. Adaptable and action-oriented. A doer, focused on immediate results. Disorganized, messy.
Veronica Nevarez
She is a Hispanic American female. (16-18, ALL SIZES, 5”4-5”11)
Quiet, reserved, with loner tendencies. Private and hidden. Has trouble describing feelings, tends to be unemotional. Not very affectionate. Can be insensitive to the misfortunes of others. Isolated and not influenced by others.
Summer Watts
She is a Caucasian/European Female. (16-18, ALL HEIGHTS, ALL SIZES)
Sociable. Group oriented. Attention seeking. Outgoing. Does not like being alone. Practical, traditional and organized. Likely to be athletic. Likes to be in charge. Acts without thinking. Likely to have or want a tattoo. Rule breaker. Easily distracted. Comfortable in unfamiliar situations. Attracted to strange things and counterculture. Non-punctual. Likes to stand out.

Lonnie Tarver
He is a African American Male. (16-18, 5’6-6’6)
Funny, football jock, group oriented, and athletic. Meets Jasmine at a Beach party, tries to show her that he is a “good-guy” throughout the summer but, in reality he wants one thing from her, that she WONT give.
Yanisin Tanner
He is a Native American male, (16-18, 5’5-6’2)
Wild, Romantic, Fit, and has long black hair! He meets Mai at the Beach party and takes interest in her–obssesive interest. He’s over-protective of her and blows her phone up day & night. Mai eventually tries to end things and he won’t like that one bit.
Ren Mori
OPEN ETHNICITY, (16-18, 5’6-6’0)
Blonde/Brown hair and eyes that kill! Very ditsy and goofy, and dim-witted, player. Self-centered and football jock, takes interest in Summer AND Veronica. He makes a bet with his friends (Yaninsin & Lonnie) that he can get Veronica and Summer to date him at the same time, which back-fires.
Parents Of Mai, Veronica, Brandi, Jasmine, and Summer

The age range for lead roles says 16-18, if I am younger but look about that age range am I able to audition?
