A Spy Not Like Us

Non-union, indie film, “A Spy Not Like Us” will be holding auditions for African American actors to fill major and minor roles in the project that will be filming around the Ada Ohio area shortly. Casting directors with W.T.J. Films are currently accepting actor’s submissions via email. This is a non-paid project with possible deferred payment.
The film project is about the first Black Secret Service Agent in America (1861) John Scobell. It features the role of the first Black ordained priest in America (1854). The film is directed and produced by Nick Jones.
SEEKING TALENT
1. Black Female, ages 50-60 (Small Role)
2. Mid 30’s Black Female: Plus-Sized (Small Role)
OTHER ROLES (Casting decisions are currently being made for these roles, but you can still submit if you are interested)
– Black female for major role, ages 45 – 50: Scobell’s Romantic Interest, an alcoholic (Major Role)
– White male for major role, ages 60 – 70: Southern Sympathizer and Spy (Major Role)
– Older White Male: Slave Owner (Major Role)
– Older White Female: Slave Owner’s Wife, invalid and in a wheelchair (Major Role)
– Middle Aged White Male: Overseer, evil and malicious part, involved in violent scenes (Major Role)
– Older Black Male, ages 65-80: Minister (Major Role)
– Middle Aged Male: Waiter (Small Role)
– Two Black Females, ages 20-25 (Small Roles)
– Older Black Male, age 70 (Small Role)
-Two Black Males, age 30 (Small Roles)
