Description: Regent University Fall Endowment Film
SHOOTING DATES: Oct. 17-22
Synopsis: Jack is seeing someone, and his wife Alice isn’t happy about it. The fact that she’s three years dead makes for a complicated love triangle and one spooky dinner date.
Principle Roles:
Jack (30-45)- an honest man trying to find a human connection with a woman after the death of his wife while also doing right by the ghost
Alice (30-45)- Jack’s wife; a woman three years dead stuck between earthly life and the beyond; she struggles with her husband’s romantic pursuits while she must linger as a ghost
Ted (30-45)- Jack’s quirky best friend, who is also a ghost; he tries to help Jack understand Alice’s situation while also coming to his aid when she gets out of hand
Isabel (25-35)- Jack’s date; a funny, sweet young woman who experiences Jack’s supernatural predicament first-hand over dinner
Franklin (40-55)- an orderly restaurant host who serves Jack and Isabel on their date
Man (30-55)- a large, muscular man who misconstrues a conversation between Jack and Alice in the restaurant bathroom
