Marvel Studios new “Avengers” movie, “Avengers: Infinity War” is beginning production shortly and holding an open casting call in GA for “Avengers 3” and “Avengers 4.”

The Marvel film will be shooting in the Atlanta area and now casting Atlanta locals who would like to work as paid background actors, featured extras and stand-ins in the new Avengers flick..

According to Deadline, Infinity War will be a 2 part film spanning the 3rd and 4th installment of “The Avengers”  movie series. The 2 films are filming back to back and Georgia’s Central Casting is looking for talent to work on both films. Both films currently have May release dates with “Infinity War Part 1” due out in May of 2018 and “Avengers: Infinity War Part 2” following in 2019.

Actual production dates are not listed but the casting notice does state that the films will be in production for most of 2017. While it seems production may still be some time away, casting directors for “The Avengers” are looking to get a jump start on casting as talent will be hand picked by the director for many small roles.

Also according to Deadline, both films are being helmed by Anthony & Joe Russo, the directors behind “Captain America: The Winter Soldier” and this years “Captain America: Civil War.” The pair took over for “Age of Ultron” director, Joss Whedon, who directed the 2 previous Avengers movies.

Thanos the Mad Titan assembles all six “Infinity Gems” which gives him ultimate power over Time, Space, Mind, Soul, Reality and Power. Thanos, obsessed with death, goes on a quest to kill everything living once he achieves his God-like powers.

Thanos, is being played by Josh Brolin.
