We’re casting a supporting role for a short film.
Synopsis: Nina sits down with her friend and co-worker Sandy (the main character) as she frantically goes over her tips at the back of the restaurant. Aware of Sandy’s husband’s recent unemployment situation and the burden it bears on her, Nina attempts to console Sandy through conversation, but soon realizes she has neither the experience nor the patience to give any real advice.
Character Breakdown:
The character Nina is a fun carefree person, but lacks the ability to empathize with Sandy’s situation. Nina also provides comedic relief to an overall dramatic piece. Loughran Media seeks an experienced, African American, Latin American, or Asian American actress, 20s-30s, and comfortable delivering informal dialog.
