CBS “The Amazing Race” 2017 / 2018 Auditions Coming to Orlando Florida

Casting directors for the “Amazing Race” is coming to the city of Los Angeles

The local CBS affiliate in the Orlando Area will be hosting an open casting call for the show’s 2017 / 2018 season. The show is looking for dynamic and outgoing pairs to join the cast of the reality competition series and go after that $1,000,000 prize. Seems that the new season is also going to be taking on singles as there are applications for contestants applying as a team and as an individual. There is an open call coming up this week and folks who do not live in in the area may apply via a video audition that can be done online.

If you are a fan of the show and find yourself saying… I can do that… and win. Here is your chance to prove it.  Teams who attend the try outs will have a chance to get their auditions taped for the show’s producers to review. The call is for teams of two, so you both must attend the event. To qualify, you and your team mate must be US citizens living in the US who are at least 21 years of age.

THE AMAZING RACE is an Emmy Award winning CBS reality competition show that challenges teams of two to race around the glode winning clues about their destinations in a series of challenges. Each week a team is eliminated until a final winner emerges. “The Amazing Race” is hosted by Phil Keoghan who has also won multiple Emmy’s.

If you have dreamed of joining the cast of CBS “Amazing Race” and plan on attending, the shows casting directors have put together a short list of things you may want to talk about during the audition process.

They would like teams to be able to answer the following questions:

• Why would you make a great team to win The Amazing Race?
• What do you hope to improve or change in your current relationship?
• What issues do you need to work on?
• How much have you traveled together?
• What team do you most relate to from the past season?

The show is looking for Strong-willed, Outgoing, Adventurous and physically fit teams who have interesting lifestyles, backgrounds and personalities. Teams applying must have a pre-existing relationship such as a husband and  wife team, boyfriend – girlfriend, brother – sister, or a variety of other scenarios.
