Get cast in Bryan Cranston’s new show “Electric Dreams”
Philip K. Dick’s Electric Dreams is now in production in the Chicago area and currently casting local extras and actors to fill small, paid, non-speaking roles on the show.
The upcoming science fiction TV series was previously called “Electric Dreams: The World of Philip K. Dick” and is described as an anthology series which is inspired by the science fiction works of Philip K. Dick who wrote the sci-fi classic “Blade Runner.”
The show was picked up in the US by Amazon and will premiere in the UK on UK’s Channel 4. The anthology series will be made up of 10 episodes which are described as stand-alone episodes.
According to Variety, Amazon bought the U.S. rights to the show which has Sony Pictures Television behind it and is being produced by “Breaking Bad” star Bryan Cranston under his Moon Shot Entertainment banner and “Outlander” show-runner Ronald D. Moore. Bryan Cranston is also set to appear in at least one episode of “Electric Dreams” during the first season. Bryan Cranston and his production company Moon Shot are also behind another Amazon project, “Sneaky Pete” which is also produced with Sony for Amazon.
Cranston is executive producing “Electric Dreams” with Ronald Moore and others including Maril Davis of Moore’s Tall Ship Productions, James Degus of Moon Shot, David Kanter and Matt DeRoss of Anonymous Content and Left Bank Pictures’ Lila Rawlings and Marigo Kehoe.
“Electric Dreams” is now in production and the networks have not yet set a premiere date.

Male, Caucasian/African American, Age Range: 18-45
Height: At least 6’5-6’9
Details: We are looking for a couple men that will need to be comfortable working in nude shorts and bare chested. You will need to be comfortable working in a POD-like figure which will have a plexiglass and see through front, so you will not be completely enclosed. Though, you should not submit if you are prone to being claustrophobic. You MUST submit a close up, side profile, a medium photo of the back of your head-to-waist, and a full body shot. DO NOT submit if you have any tattoos! You must submit photos of you in athletic wear i.e. shorts, tank top, etc. up against a blank wall. If you DO NOT follow these instructions, you will not be considered.
