Extras Wanted in San Francisco for Indie Film “The Aquarium”

Seeking Asian females 18-35 for “The Aquarium” short film

Location: San Francisco, CA

Type: Film

We are looking for extras for our short film “The Aquarium”.

“The Aquarium” is a dark drama which follows the struggles of a man and woman trying to make a go of a relationship despite distance, outside opposition, and social standing. When trust starts to cause friction between them, what chance do they have?

The short film is partly set in the Philippines so the extras we require must be or at least come close to looking like Filipino. These are non speaking roles so it is not necessary to be able to speak Tagalog. As stated, these are non speaking roles but requires a little emoting and to either sit or possibly stand or a combination of both in a room that appears to be a viewing room for humans. Thus the title “The Aquarium”. The scene REQUIRES THE EXTRAS TO WEAR BIKINI’S, so you must be comfortable doing so. We are aiming to shoot the scenes the weekend of May 12-13 in the late afternoon/early evening.

That date could be pushed back a week or two so flexibility is a plus. All costumes will be provided and a make up artist will be on set as well. These are unpaid extra roles but food, snacks, and beverages will be provided. Other compensation: Credit and network for other projects. Please submit with “Aquarium Extras” in the subject line and include a head shot and a short description of yourself!
