Grayscale Media LLC, is casting two female supporting characters for a series of (3) short films, based in the 1950’s, surrounding issues of maintaining a social mask, being true to yourself, and finding your joy.

Phyllis: (18 – 22) AFRICAN AMERICAN FEMALE, Phyllis has been very wealthy all of her life, and is very spoiled. She expects any and everyone to bend to her will, and is also very naive, seeming as she has been very sheltered. Phyllis is very talkative, and has an upbeat personality. However, not to many people are fond of her constant bragging.

Barbara: (18 – 24) AFRICAN AMERICAN FEMALE, Barbara has also grown up wealthy, but turned out to be a major disappointment to her family. She is a heavy drinker and constantly parties. She sleeps with any and everyone, and does not think before she speaks. She has no manners, and defies everything that a woman was supposed to be in the 1950s.
